Variant Options

Variant options are the things your products vary by — Size, Colour, or anything you define — and the values each one takes. Set them up once here, and they are offered whenever you add a Variant Product. Open it from Reference Data → Variant Options.

Add an option with comma-separated values, then delete it.

What you can do here​

  • Add an option — a name plus its values, separated by commas (S, M, L, XL), then Add.
  • Start from a preset — the Common ones chips add Size, Colour, and similar standards in one tap.
  • Grow an option — add values to an existing option, reorder them, or remove a value.
  • Rename or delete an option from its row.
Name and values together — the yellow rings mark the two fields; presets sit below for one-tap standards.

Good to know​

  • Options only matter for Variant Products — single products never ask for them.
  • Removing a value doesn't touch items already created with it; it stops being offered for new ones.
