Inventory Reports

What moved, what is left, and what is not selling. Open it from Accounts & Reports → Inventory Reports.

Summary to ledger drill-down, the three valuation methods side by side, and the idle-stock report.

The tabs

  • Stock Summary — opening, in, out, and what's left, valued at cost, with warnings for negative stock, over-reservation, and below-reorder items. Click an item to open its ledger.
  • Stock Ledger — every voucher that moved one item, with the running balance.
  • Stock Valuation — the same quantity under three methods: last purchase price (what every other screen uses), weighted average (what a CA usually expects), and FIFO — the rate is what differs.
  • Slow / Dead Stock — what sits idle, longest first: 30, 60, 90, 180 days or over a year, with the money it ties up and each item's last sale and purchase.
  • Stock Flow and Stock Audit — the reconciliation grid and the counting workflow, shared with Stock Audit.
Valued at cost — the flags row calls out anything that needs attention.
  • Items — the catalog behind every number here
  • Stock Audit — when the report says the shelf should be counted
