Display Stock

The pieces standing in the showroom, tracked apart from sellable stock — with their display price and an audited path back to the shelf. Open it from Inventory → Display Stock.

Put a piece on display, and the audited moves between shelf and showroom.

What you can do here

  • Add a display piece — the item, its location, quantity, and the DP (display price) on its tag.
  • Move between shelf and showroom — for pieces linked to the catalog: Move to Stock returns a unit for sale (bill it as usual), Get from Stock puts one on display. Each move is one unit, written as an audited stock adjustment.
  • Filter and export — by location, category, and brand; export the register as a spreadsheet.
The showroom register — units here are not sellable stock until moved back.

Good to know

  • A display row whose quantity reaches zero removes itself.
  • Unlinked entries (not matched to an item master) can't move to or from stock — edit the entry and link the item first.
  • Items — the sellable stock these moves touch
